Check-in & checkout
- Check-in: 4:00 PM · Checkout: 11:00 AM
- Keyless entry: your door code and Wi‑Fi details are in your booking messages (and Wi‑Fi is posted inside). We never post them online.
- To lock from the outside, close the door and press the Schlage button.
- Quiet hours: 10 PM – 6 AM. Please be kind to neighbors.
- Please take shoes off inside — it keeps the space clean and cozy.
- Checkout: please gather used towels, toss trash and turn things off — the full list is in your booking app.
Your home
- Arriving: the last stretch is a shared private drive. Please drive very slowly (5 MPH max) — the home is at the very end. Full directions are in your booking app.
- Enjoy the water: mornings here are made for coffee outside. Dress in layers — it’s breezy by the water even in summer.
- Supplies: we leave a starter set of essentials. For longer stays, plan a grocery run in town.
Fireplace won’t turn on?
If you press the power button on the remote and nothing happens, the fireplace’s own power switch has probably been turned off. Here’s the fix:
- Find the slatted vent strip along the top of the fireplace.
- Press the right end of the vent strip to open the cover, then pull it out to reveal the control panel.
- Flip the small rocker switch on the left side of the panel to ON ( | ).
- Close the cover and use the remote as normal.
Please turn the fireplace off with the remote when you’re done — no need to use the manual switch.
