Welcome to your serene waterfront escape—perfect for reconnecting with friends, visiting family in town, or simply pressing pause for a peaceful reset. This charming two-bedroom, two-bathroom oceanfront cottage is all about relaxing vibes, stunning views, and that fresh sea air you just can’t bottle. About the Cottage: Tucked away down a quiet, tree-lined path, this 1930s cottage offers sweeping views of the Puget Sound from every room. At 1,360 sq ft, it’s got all the space you need to spread out and settle in. Inside, you’ll find a cozy coastal boho style—light, airy, and full of charm, with just the right amount of personality (kind of like your favorite Airbnb host). Features You’ll Love: Cozy Living Spaces: The main living area is warm, inviting, and filled with natural light. Big windows frame the view, so whether you’re sipping coffee or snoozing on the sofa, the Sound is always front and center. Keep your eyes peeled—you might catch sea lions lounging or even a whale cruising by. Fully Equipped Kitchen: The kitchen is fully stocked with quality cookware, so whether you’re making a simple snack or a gourmet feast, you’ve got the tools—and the views—to make it memorable. Comfortable Bedrooms: Upstairs, the primary bedroom has a comfy queen bed and peaceful vibes. Downstairs in the daylight basement are two more queen beds—plenty of room for family, friends, or that one cousin who always invites themselves. The Neighborhood: Located in a peaceful residential area, the cottage is just a short drive from Bremerton’s shops, restaurants, ferry terminal, and the naval base—perfect for those visiting loved ones stationed nearby. Feeling adventurous? Catch the ferry into downtown Seattle for a day trip full of markets, museums, and maybe a coffee or three. If nature’s more your thing, Bremerton is a fantastic launchpad for exploring the Olympic National Forest, Hood Canal, and all the wild and wonderful state and national parks in Western Washington. Basically, whether you’re into forest hikes or ferry rides, you’re in the right spot. While our property sits on over an acre, our neighbors also have spacious lots with plenty of greenery. You may occasionally hear routine yard work like mowing or trimming during the day, especially in warmer months.

Other Details to Note

Families : We love hosting families—but please note there’s a spiral staircase that can be tricky to navigate. We do our best to block it off for little ones, but it’s always good to stay mindful. Pets: We frequently stay here as our second home, and we have kiddos with notable allergies to dogs and cats. We kindly ask that if you have any pets or service animals, please book elsewhere due to our kids' allergies.

We decided to stay here because it was a central location for all the things we wanted to do on our trip. We were able to visit Olympic and Mt Rainer National Parks, Boeing in Everett and Bainbridge Island. the Parks are definitely a bit of a drive, but easily doable from the location if the house. We were pleasantly surprised with one of the best stays we've had. The view over the water is incredible. We were treated to wildlife daily, deer in the yard and otters and seals in the water. The owners were extremely responsive to every message sent and they were proactive in having the pack and play crib set up for our 4 month old. The spiral stairs were a little tricky, but nothing that took away from our stay. If we ever visit Bremmerton again this will be the first house we check for openings!

We absolutely loved everything about this house! The space is spotless and so comfortable and cozy. The views were spectacular from every room but our favorite was sitting on the lounger or at the dinner table and just stare endlessly at the beautiful scene before us. The view from the deck is also amazing and had plenty of seating and space to run around. We were visited by a family of deer 2 of the mornings and can see them theough the window another day - so cool! The neighborhood was peaceful, we never heard any of the neighbors or even see anyone out. The home had everything that we needed, from the kitchen (never seen so many spices in a rental, wow), to the bathroom with plenty of towels for everyone. One thing to note is the lower level is fairly low, I am 5’3 and able to touch the ceiling with my hand, so tall people might not be as comfortable. Upstairs is normal height. Tracy is the best host! She was super quick to respond every time I had a question and so so so friendly

An incredible stay on the water! It was amazing having coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on the deck overlooking the water. The home was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was the perfect set-up for me and my friend to have our own space and yet hang out in the kitchen, living room or on the deck. Tracy was a wonderful host, who was very communicative and also provided some great spots to visit. Thank you for an awesome stay! We will certainly be back!

Our family absolutely loved this home. The view is unbeatable, the neighborhood quiet, the kitchen well set up for a family like us that likes to cook. The set up was great, too, with comfortable beds upstairs and down, a huge kitchen island for family game time, a comfy living room great for movie watching and book reading, and a beautiful patio and lots of windows to let the fresh air in. These are wonderful, attentive hosts, too. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Quick drive to the ferry to Seattle and lots and lots of great hikes nearby, too.
